How CHEOLO Works — From Shared Destinations to Real Connections

Start with what makes you, you

CHEOLO helps adults discover other adults using travel plans, interests, meeting preferences and mutual consent. It is not a booking service and cannot arrange a guaranteed date. The process is designed to give both people useful information before they decide whether to connect.

Step 1 — Create an honest profile

Register with an email address you control. Confirm your account, enter age-eligibility information and add profile details such as interests, city, languages, travel style and photos. Choose how you describe your gender and who you would like to meet. Provide only information you are comfortable sharing under the platform's visibility rules. Member photos may need moderation before becoming visible.

Step 2 — Say where you'd like to go

Add destinations, optional travel dates and the kind of experience that excites you. You may be looking for a coffee in a new city, an art exhibition, a quiet beach, a food experience or a fellow hiking enthusiast. Accurate plans help other members judge whether meeting is realistic, but you should never share hotel room details or a precise real-time location just to receive suggestions.

Step 3 — Discover people with genuine overlap

CHEOLO uses mutual age and gender preferences, destination and date overlap, interests, profile visibility and safety restrictions to organize suggestions. Not every shared destination produces a match. If someone's preference does not include you, or they have blocked you, the platform should not turn that into a conversation request. The explanations on discovery cards should reflect actual shared information, not generic promises.

Step 4 — Talk first, decide together

Use mutual likes or accepted message requests to begin a conversation where permitted. Ask considerate questions: What part of the city are you most excited about? Would you enjoy a gallery or a food market? If both people want to meet, suggest a public Rendezvous and agree on time, place and expectations. A request isn't a commitment. Either person can change their mind.

What about trips and group plans?

A member can publish a planned trip and, where enabled, allow others to request to join. The organizer reviews requests and controls participation within platform rules. A posted trip is a member-created plan, not a flight, accommodation booking or travel package sold by CHEOLO. Confirm any financial arrangements outside the platform carefully, and never send money to an unfamiliar person based only on a profile.

What does Premium do?

Premium, when it is legally approved and available, adds optional discovery and account features. It does not buy a reply, an introduction, a verified identity, a reservation or permission to bypass someone's boundaries. The live purchase page must display real prices and renewal terms, not test or sample rates.

Privacy and safety always come first

Use profile visibility controls, block or report a member if needed, and be careful about sharing contact details. For a first meeting, choose a public place and tell someone you trust where you're going. A photo-check label is not the same as identity verification. Read our Safety Centre and Community Guidelines.
